Kirk, I personally want to mention to you what a pleasure it has been working with you through what arguably, was a very difficult transaction of purchase and sale. Purchases from a mortgagee in possession are seldom easy, but this one was extra difficult owing to the unfortunate condition of the property. However, your kindness, courtesy, patience, knowledgeability, and unstinting donations of time to MARGIE and me in helping us to bring about the closing of this transaction will always be remembered. And the names of the various people you gave us (electricians, plumbers, tree cutters, locksmiths, etc.) to help us after the closing were also so very helpful. In addition bringing us around to meet one of our neighbours, the minnow farmer, was so thoughtful. You literally left no stone unturned in your attempts to make us feel welcome in our new environment. And we also feel that we now have a new and lasting friend in Pefferlaw, i.e., you. It is no wonder that you meant it when you told us that you really like what you do. This is probably why you excel. I can also say that, although I no longer practise law in the real estate field, limiting myself now to estate and tax law, I was formerly in a position to meet and work with many real estate agents, some of whom were certainly very capable. Kirk arranged for a fast exchange of the sale agreement via fax. He also arranged for a local lawyer for us and forwarded all the required documents there.
